Ramparts fall 6-0 in first of two game road trip

May 18, 2026

Despite the scoreline, the numbers told the story of a match where NOLA Ramparts FC battled through long stretches without the ball against a clinical Pensacola FC Academy side. Pensacola controlled 64% possession and completed 336 passes, forcing the Ramparts to spend much of the night defending deep and absorbing pressure.

Pensacola struck early in the 18th minute before adding three goals in a chaotic stretch between the 36th and 37th minutes. The visitors continued to press after halftime, finding the net again in the 75th, 76th, and 82nd minutes to secure a 6–0 result.

NOLA Ramparts FC showed flashes of resilience throughout the match. The squad completed 185 passes with a 63% success rate on the ball — both above the team’s season averages — and improved their buildup numbers after goal kicks and goalkeeper touches. Defensively, the team continued to fight despite facing relentless pressure and 26 total shots from Pensacola, including 12 on target.

Offensively, the Ramparts struggled to create chances in the final third, recording two shots with one on target. Only 3% of possessions ended in a shot or cross, highlighting the difficulty of breaking through Pensacola’s organized press and possession structure.

The match serves as another learning experience for a growing Ramparts side competing against high-level opposition. While the result was disappointing, the squad continues to gain valuable minutes and build chemistry as the club develops its identity heading deeper into the season.
